Headquartered in Seattle, we are seeking an energetic, team-oriented and responsible individual to fill a full-time Software QA Analyst position. This role can be done remotely.

Summary/Objective 

The software QA analyst will be responsible for managing, implementing and performing QA best practices across the LUNA crop management software family, including desktop and mobile applications. You will be an integral part of the software engineering team, ensuring new work is tested before release, and implementing new regression testing processes (both automated and manual) for our existing products. 


 

Essential Functions

  • Own the QA process and quality standards for the current and future LUNA software applications, including process documentation.
  • Ensure new software features are tested against thorough testing scripts.
  • Make process recommendations to ensure best practices are followed by the development team.
  • Ensure consistent QA coverage for all new software features and bug fixes.
  • Ensure consistent regression testing (both manual and automated).
  • Provide detailed investigation and reproduction steps of reported issues.
  • Help prioritize bugs and small issues in collaboration with Client Success and Product Management.
  • Appropriately escalate urgent issues.
  • Assist with analysis of customer feedback and reported issues. 
     

This job is FT and can be done remotely from your home office.

 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, with a regular schedule of hours as established by the CMSO. Additional hours may be required for occasional projects.

 

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.


 

Required Education and Experience 

  1. Two (2) years of software QA experience; equivalent software development experience will be considered for the right candidate
  2. Genuine interest in software development, process improvement and agriculture technology

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Experience with automated UI testing tools like Datadog
  2. Experience using project management tools like Jira, Asana or Pivotal Tracker
  3. Familiarity with with agriculture and food safety practices
