We are an Agriculture Technology company headquartered in Seattle looking for our newest addition to the sales team. If you’re passionate about technology, food security, and you’re looking to build a career in sales, a Business Development Representative (BDR) role at IUNU is perfect for you. 

 

BDRs are critical in creating leads and momentum in the earliest stages of the sales funnel. At IUNU, you’ll learn how to generate qualified leads, nurture leads through the funnel, and work closely with Account Executives to develop skills for closing opportunities. We’re looking for individuals who are hungry and competitive, and who want to contribute meaningfully to a high-growth startup.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new customers through personalized outbound strategies via phone, email, and social media to connect with targeted accounts.
  • Identify, nurture and grow a pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Follow up with prospects generated from marketing campaigns, lead discovery calls, identify and tap into opportunities to drive calls towards deal closure.
  • Educate and qualify prospective leads, helping to book meetings, calls and demonstrations and managing leads through the sales process.
  • Partner with Account Executive(s) to identify and source net new pipeline and assist by researching lines of business and personas.
  • Identify key decision makers within new accounts
     

Qualifications

  • 0-2+ years of experience in a similar sales role (BDR or Sales Development Representative preferred). 
  • You are an active listener, eager to learn more about SaaS Sales & Agriculture.
  • You are a great communicator, whether it be via phone, email, instant messaging, Slack, Zoom, or in person
  • Experience with cold calling and high volume email outreach.
  • Experience with AI and Agriculture may be advantageous.
  • Completion of coursework in sales techniques or marketing may be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Sales Tools including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, email management, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other lead generation systems may be advantageous.
  • Position is located in-person in the Seattle HQ.
