Headquartered in Seattle, we are seeking an energetic, team-oriented and responsible individual to fill a full-time Annotator position. This role can be done remotely in Canada or the United States.

Overview
 

Annotators at iUNU are responsible for processing datasets of images to assess and classify critical objects in a given scene. Accuracy, precision, and consistency are vital characteristics of the role, as the annotated data drives our LUNA Computer Vision. Thus, the success of our CV depends on the success of our Annotators. 


 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Following a set of guidelines, an Annotator will need to evaluate all objects in each image in a dataset. 
  • Then the Annotator will need to determine how they will classify those objects, if at all. 
  • An Annotator is responsible for sourcing images for the datasets, following a set of guidelines. 
  • An Annotator will need to ensure the quality and consistency of annotations in a given dataset. 


 

Qualifications

 

Education

High school diploma or GED

 

Experience

Experience as an Annotator is preferred but not required.

 

Specific Skills

Must understand Windows or Linux environments and have some experience with command-line interfaces. Basic experience with Python is a plus.

 

Personal Characteristics

  • Must be detail-oriented. 
  • Ability to work well with teams in a remote (work from home) environment.
  • Good communication skills are preferred. 
  • Strong time management skills.
